Measurement Controller Expansion
The great strength of Kabelassistent W 12 is its flexibility in terms of the physical dimensions of the assembly boards and the number of wires in the wire harness.
An expansion port in the controller is required for expansion. We offer controllers that are equipped with an expansion port at the factory.

If the size of the assembled wire harnesses changes, we can also install an expansion port at a later stage on request.
You can connect expansion terminals via the expansion port. Suitable connection cables for the 24 V power supply can be found below. For the data connection, any standard Cat. 5e LAN cable can be used. The cable length can be up to 100 m.
The expansion terminals also have an integrated expansion port, allowing you to expand the measurement system on your assembly board with additional expansion terminals as required.
