The mounting plate is used to mount connection points, such as mating connector housings, terminal blocks for open wire ends, bare contacts, or screws for ring terminals.
The 3.2 mm thick GFRP withstands the high forces generated when inserting large contacts or opening heavy-duty terminal blocks. The rigid mounting of the connection points improves ergonomics and saves time by securely holding connector housings and adapters in place, eliminating the need to hold them by hand during contact insertion.
Mounting plates are available in lengths of 20 mm, 40 mm, 60 mm, 100 mm, and 200 mm. Depending on the application, the base rail can be selected to be shorter or longer than the mounting plate.
On the wire harness side, the mounting plates feature pre-drilled holes on a 5 mm pitch. Only the required holes need to be drilled out, allowing flexible adaptation to different connector types and applications.
