The Pin Splitter is a compact mini connection module that you connect to your test and measurement system via the RJ45 socket on one side. The other side features eight contact pins that allow you to connect the measurement channels to the connection points or route unused measurement channels to an output socket. With a width of 20 mm, the Pin Splitter matches the spacing of the base rails.
The delivery includes both screws and spacer bolts. When you mount the Pin Splitter on the base rail using the spacer bolts, you can attach another Pin Splitter or a cover on top. Thanks to the 20 mm spacing and the spacer bolts, you can mount multiple Pin Splitters on one base rail in any arrangement and quantity required.
The matching pigtails are not included in the delivery. They are available in the colors brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, and grey. Similar to the resistor color code, the color identification helps you keep track of pin numbers and measurement channel numbers.
To make crimping contacts of different sizes easier, pigtails are available with conductor cross-sections of 0.25 mm² and 0.75 mm².
