Bridging plug for the emergency stop button connection if no emergency stop button is required or an external central shutdown is available.

All Kabelassistent power supplies have a connection for an emergency stop button. Since Kabelassistent and the assembly board normally have no moving parts, they do not fall under the scope of the Machinery Directive. Therefore, an emergency stop button is not required for this reason. Whether you operate Kabelassistent with or without an emergency stop button, or use the emergency stop button as a switch to turn individual assembly boards on and off, depends on your company's internal requirements.

For operation without an emergency stop button, you need a bridging plug.
